“There’s something to be said for sticking with it. You’ve only really failed once you have stopped, just keep going. It may take you a little longer, which it did for me at certain points, but if you get to the finish line you wanted, it’s totally fine.”
Chris was diagnosed as dyslexic when he was in his late teens. Jann and Chris discuss his neuro-diversity and how it made him feel to be wired slightly differently, in particular, the years before his diagnosis. He speaks to the relief of understanding his diagnosis and the comfort of learned coping mechanisms and how to effectively overcome barriers in life. Chris completed his Masters and has built a successful career in the banking sector, demonstrating how truly resilient he is.
