“It was never on my radar to pursue anything art-related.”
Imagine having a set career path in mind and then as you progress down that path you realize that it was the wrong career choice for you. Not only that, it negatively impacts your mental health each day. Dan and Jann talk about that realization for him after going through school and completing his Masters in Physiotherapy and beginning a career in this field. Dan shares his story of anxiety and his strength of will in moving forward and finding what worked for him. He talks about how important it is to reach out for help. We also discuss Dan’s incredible art and his life-changing call from the National Hockey League seeking permission to share his drawing of Peter Forsberg. That was just the start. And lucky for us, the continuation, of Dan’s amazing talent. Jann fully admits that her personal favourite is Dan’s Steve Yzerman!
