Robert is a general practice partner with Ford Keast LLP and is a member of the firm’s Professional Standards and Training Committee. Prior to joining Ford Keast LLP, Robert was a partner in a regional accounting firm from 1994 – 2001. He started his own firm in 2001 in London, Ontario, and operated it until December 31, 2016; on January 1, 2017, Robert merged his accounting firm with Ford Keast LLP.
Robert’s expertise and experience have assisted family-owned businesses every step of the way, from start-up, through expansion and growth, to retirement.
Community is very important to Robert which is demonstrated through his involvement with many charities and his presence on multiple boards. Since 2010, Robert has been the Treasurer, Investment Committee Chair, Executive Committee Member, and member of the Board of Directors at Ronald McDonald House Charities – Southwestern Ontario. He is a founding member of both the Entrepreneurial C.P.A.’s of London and The London Business Breakfast Club.
Recently, while his sons attended Western University, he renewed his season tickets for football and volunteered his barbequing skills at the Western Cheer Team’s pre-game lunches. Go Stangs! Robert is also a London Knights and Toronto Blue Jays fan. He has been labeled a “scotch snob”, enjoys travelling, and can’t wait to go back to Italy…again.
