On March 18, 2020, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and certain provincial governmental authorities released tax measures in connection with COVID-19.

Items of note:
- Personal tax filing deadline extended to June 1, 2020
- Deferral of individual and corporate income tax payments (balance due and instalments) until September 1, 2020
- Enhanced EI sickness benefits and waived waiting period
- 10% wage subsidy for small businesses (up to $25,000 per employer for the next three months)
