The Department of Finance has now extended the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (“CEWS”) and Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (“CERS”) programs, which were previously set to expire September 25, 2021, as well as increased the wage and rent subsidy rate for Period 20.
